Lucabear is a 13 year old husky mix who was rescued from Jamestown, NY in November of 2020 after living on a porch for 5 years. As his new mom and dad, we quickly learned that he has severe arthritis and obstructive airway disease. We made it our goal to have him photographed for each holiday, knowing he didn’t have many holidays left. As I took his pictures, I realized that if I could do this for Luca, I could do it for others, beginning with his brothers Lucius and Maximus (who are also rescues). From there, I began to volunteer with local animal rescues in Upstate NY to spread awareness animals in need of a furever home through professional photographs. And the rest, as they say, is history!
